SHEET 07About Sentinel

Built by people who have been on the roof

Sentinel Home Solutions is a veteran owned South Carolina home services company, custom home builder, and remodeler based in the Upstate. We are new as a company and direct about it, because the alternative is inventing a history we do not have.

Why We Exist

One crew for the
whole envelope

In Short

Sentinel Home Solutions is a veteran owned, licensed and insured home services contractor, custom home builder, and remodeler headquartered at 151 Glenwood Ln, Gray Court, SC 29645, working out of the Upstate. The company handles roofing, exteriors, windows, solar with battery backup, HVAC, new home construction, and remodeling with its own crews so the transitions between those assemblies fall inside one scope of work and one warranty.

Homeowners in South Carolina end up managing four separate companies to keep one house dry, cool, and efficient. A roofer, a siding contractor, a solar installer, and an HVAC company, none of whom talk to each other, all of whom point somewhere else when something fails.

We put those trades under one roof and added new construction, because the same knowledge that keeps water out of an existing wall is what you want designing a new one. Our crews handle the roof, the envelope, the mechanical systems, and the energy systems, so the details where those assemblies meet belong to us.

We are not the cheapest bid you will get and we do not try to be. What we hold ourselves to is a written scope you can read, work you can see documented, licensing and insurance you can verify, and a crew lead whose name you know.

What we commit to

01

Veteran Owned & Operated

Run with the standards the owner was trained on: show up on time, brief the plan, do the work to spec, and account for it afterward.

02

Licensed & Insured

Licensed South Carolina residential builder, fully insured. License number and current certificates provided with every proposal, before any deposit.

03

Written Scopes Only

Every price is tied to a line-item scope. If it is not on the scope, it is not in the price, and we tell you that up front.

04

Our Own Crews

The trades that determine how your home performs are staffed in house, not auctioned to whoever is available that week.

05

Documented Work

Photographs of concealed work, commissioning numbers, and warranty registrations handed over at closeout.

06

Clean Jobsite, Daily

Debris hauled, paths protected, and dust contained when we are working in a house you are still living in. The site gets left in a condition we would accept at our own homes.

SHEET 07.2Sequence

The four stages

Same sequence on a single roof repair and on a ground-up build. Only the duration changes.

01

Site Assessment

We walk the property, get into the attic and the crawlspace, and photograph what we find. You get findings in writing, including the things that do not need work yet.

02

Written Scope

A line-item scope stating materials, quantities, and exclusions, with a fixed price. No verbal add-ons and no allowance games buried in the total.

03

Scheduled Execution

A start date, a crew lead by name, and daily progress photos. Materials staged before mobilization so the job does not stall halfway through.

04

Verification & Handoff

Final inspection with you present, a punch list closed before invoicing, and a documentation packet with warranties, photos, and commissioning numbers.

SHEET 08 — QUERIES

Straight
answers

If your question is not here, call and ask. We would rather answer it before the contract than after.

SHEET 09 — NEXT STEP

Get it looked at
before it spreads.

Tell us what the house is doing and we will come look at it. The assessment is free, the findings come to you in writing, and there is no obligation attached to either one.
